One Of My MOST Exciting Blog Posts Ever: The New Yandy "Toy" Review
We're all stuck at home. We're all lonely or feeling the pressure of being around the same people over and over again. Springtime is happening. Our biology is telling us it's time to flirt, feel sexy and go out and smell the flowers...and we can't.
Months of quarantine have chipped away at most of our sanity, and there's never been a better time for self love. This goes for moving your body, being gentle with yourself, nourishing your body by cooking good food for yourself, and absolutely... loving on your body. Wink, wink.
In a very exciting turn of events, one of my favorite brands, Yandy, is now selling sexual wellness products (wheeee!!!). This is, by far, the most fun I've ever had doing research/work for this blog. I bring you my first, sexual wellness review!

Real talk for a sec: Self pleasure is so healthy, important, and good for your mental, physical and emotional health (check out this article on the many benefits). Particularly with all of the stress during quarantine, not to mention all of the boredom and isolation, this route to dopamine has never been more necessary.
Not only does it help us with menstrual cramps, body pain and help boost feel good hormones, it also helps us sleep, which has always been crucial for me, personally. This is the perfect time to grab some new toys and try out new methods, whether you're single, or coupled up.
I went to their website and I picked 3 items to try (pictured from left to right): The Black Lelo Sona Massage Vibrator, The Pink Vibe Therapy Mini G Vibrator, The Pink Mini Body Wand Vibrator and some of the Playboy Classic Lubricant for good measure :)
Let's start with the body wand first. I'm a Hitachi girl, so anything that looks like one, is pink, and has sparkles is something that's going to catch my eye. It's nowhere near as strong as the hitachi, but it's extremely quiet, cute, and portable while traveling, which we'll hopefully be able to do again someday. It's powered by a single AAA battery for longer and stronger stimulation (included), and packs a pretty mean punch for such a tiny pink cutie.
Next, we're on to the G Vibe (2/3 items I picked were pink, what does this mean?). This lil babe comes with 7 types of "vibes," an easy button to switch your type of vibe, and is made of silicone and super easy to clean. It hits right where you want it to (at least on me, check the name and you'll know what I mean, wink, wink), and I actually like the size a lot, despite it being a mini. I feel like you have to work up to something larger, and sometimes we want to just hit it and quit it, ya dig? I found that this works quite well in conjunction with the body wand, should you want to consider a double entendre. :)
The playboy lubricant is scent free, glides great, and doesn't have any troublesome ingredients, unlike some flavored or "heating" lubricants you see on the market. Many of those ingredients can cause irritation and even "yeast beasts," due to ingredients with sugars in them. This is water based, PH balanced, and was supremely helpful in the aforementioned double entendre.
Last but NOT least, we have the Lelo. And all I have to say is.... wow. I've always wanted to try this type of "vibe" but hadn't purchased one yet, and if you like strong, localized stimulation, THIS IS FOR YOU. I'm very sensitive, so I often prefer a more generalized "vibe", thus I used this on it's lowest setting; otherwise it was too much. It's POWERFUL. It also has a sensation that's hard to describe. You look at the the structure of this and assume that would almost have a "sucking" sensation, but that's not quite it. It's a kind of "fluttering," smaller vibration that creates huge sensation all over your body. It's quite intense. It has multiple pulsing options that you can control the rhythm and strength of, as well as my personal favorite that I'm calling the "crescendo," being the musician that I am. I highly recommend.
